- Pawteli is software for pet boarding and daycare businesses. It covers the day at the front desk (arrivals, departures, who is on site), a lodging board for boarding stays, pet and owner records, vaccine tracking, and a page each pet parent can use to see their pet's dates and request a stay.
- How much does Pawteli cost?
- $149 a month, flat, including every feature. There is no per-transaction fee and no gateway fee, because Pawteli never handles your payments. You keep whatever card processor you already use and pay them their normal rate.
- Does Pawteli take a percentage of my payments?
- No. Pawteli is not a payment processor and does not sit between you and a card payment. Stays record what is owed and what you collected; you run the card on your own reader.
- Can I move my data from Gingr, PetExec or Revelation Pets?
- Yes. Export your customers and pets to CSV and drop the file in. Pawteli matches the columns and shows you the mapping before a single row is written. People are matched on email, so one owner with four dogs stays one owner rather than becoming four customers.
- Can I get my data back out?
- Yes, whenever you want, without asking. One button in settings exports every person, pet and vaccine date as a CSV. Being easy to leave is the point.
- How does the vaccine tracking work?
- A pet parent photographs the certificate on their phone and the dates are read off it, including handwritten ones. Staff see what was read, correct anything wrong, and tap save. Nothing is stored until a human confirms it. A pet whose required vaccine has lapsed cannot be checked in by accident.
- What does Pawteli not do?
- Grooming, walk scheduling, retail, point of sale and SMS are not built yet, and Pawteli does not process payments. If grooming or retail is a large part of your business, a more established system will suit you better today.
