What it does not do
Worth knowing before you switch. We would rather lose the sale than have you find out in week two.
- Payment processing
- Deliberately. You keep your own card processor and pay them their normal rate. We never touch the money, so we can never take a cut.
- Grooming and walk scheduling
- Not built yet. If grooming is a large part of your business, a more established product will suit you better today.
- Retail and point of sale
- Not built, and not planned soon.
- SMS
- Email only for now.
Questions about the price
- How much does Pawteli cost?
- $149 a month, flat. Every feature is included and the price does not change with how many pets, staff or bookings you have.
- Are there any other fees?
- None from us. No setup fee, no per-booking fee, no gateway fee and no percentage of your takings. You will still pay your own card processor their normal rate, exactly as you do now, and that money never passes through Pawteli.
- Is Pawteli cheaper than Gingr or PetExec?
- Not necessarily on the monthly line. Publicly reported Gingr pricing runs from roughly $100 to $209 a month depending on plan, so $149 sits inside that range. The difference is the shape of the bill: there is no fee on your transaction volume, because we are not in the payments business.
- Do I need a contract?
- No. It is month to month, and your data exports to CSV in one click whenever you want it.
- What happens to my data if I leave?
- You take it. Every person, pet and vaccine date exports as a CSV from the settings page, without asking anyone and without an export fee.
Pawteli is month to month. If it is not working for you, export your data and go.
